These cables are used in information communication systems operating at speeds up to 200 Mbit/sec. They are preferred for cabling in offices and buildings where terminals are used intensively. In addition to PVC sheathed production used indoors, they are also produced with a black polyethylene outer sheath for use in outdoor and underground applications and with HFFR sheathing that does not emit toxic and corrosive gases during fire.
